The moiré technique is used to modifiy the surface of fabrics, changing the reflection of light on their fibers: the result can be compared to wood veins or a watered appearance. The moiré effect – already present within Giorgio Armani fashion and Armani/Casa upholstery fabrics – finds a new declination on wallcovering, thanks to an engraving process on vinyl.
