Aida shows a design with large palm leaves, recalling the atmosphere of the opera with the same name (1871) by Giuseppe Verdi set at the time of Ancient Egypt. The elegant silhouette of the plants is created with tone-on-tone or contrasted colours in two different options: all matt silk for the best-selling variants, or a shiny base in metallic yarns and silk with matt leaves for the new introductions. On all versions, the shantung silk used features the typical “knots” in the texture.
